Old Boardsies will remember this, but for new one a quick lowdown. Book Depository run a yearly (I think) book sale where they have 24 discounted items, one per hour. Tbf, I didn't find anything I like last year, but could be good.

It's happening tomorrow:P I wonder if it's a bit unrealistic to hope for a bargain version of John Connolly's Wrath of Angels:P

Good stuff. Only recently started using the book depository directly, I used to buy a lot from them through amazon and paid postage not realizing I could order it direct from them with free shipping!

3% cashback on Fatcheese if you use it too

Yeah the free shipping is the big deal for me, if it wasn't for that it'd be much cheaper to just buy off amazon (in america). And the lack of pay-pal as well:S

    Hmm, what's Fatcheese? I reckon I could work with 3 percent cashback:D

Its a cashback site which has mixed press.
in short you register and use there portal to access online stores.
when they get paid, you get paid.

I ordered books through this sale last year and still haven't got them.

My advice, use Amazon or Easons!

Fatcheese does indeed have very mixed press, I just started using it last month to give it a shot.

Did you chase it up

I've never had a problem with the book depository, in fact I've have had 3 books delivered this week that I ordered last week :)

The free bookmarks come in handy too!

Yeah, I heard that happening once, and I did once have to wait for months, but that's really due to their suppliers. Every other time I got them within the date specified. I guess it depends, there does seem to be a longer delay in the 6 euros versus the 12 euros books, but I really haven't had much to complain about.

It says standard delivery for Europe 7-10 working days so should be grand for Christmas: http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/help/topic/HelpId/2/When-will-my-order-arrive#helpContent

Sold out... for those that missed it, it's up on Amazon for £8.46.

EDIT: obviously wait until you have an order over £25 or you will be paying delivery.

My bad, I just assume people don't buy from Amazon until they have hit the magic £25 mark.
