How do you top last week's Late Late?

How about Robbie Williams performing possibly the worst record ever made, 'Candy'! :o
Plus Nigella 'Nigellissima' Lawson, Amy 'I Wished For You' Huberman, Ciaran 'I May Have A Book Out In The Near Future' Corrigan, plus Tommy Bowe, Jamie Heaslip and Donncha O'Callaghan launch the PUMA Alternate Jersey and music from Luka Bloom and Fresh Era

No, must be tomorrow afternoon as I have an appointment in RTE at 2.00pm tomorrow and I have just been told that as Robbie Williams will be in the building filming for the Late Late, security is going to be tight.

Robbie is on to promote his new album, 'Take the crown' and presumably his clothing line, Farrell too.

Nigella has a new Italian cookery book out - Nigellissima!

Thread is badly missing pictures of Amy ...

Amy Huberman is on to promote her second book, 'I Wished For you'

    2008-02--12.jpg

And Amy gives you this promise
Ps no interest in just going on and doing interviews about my personal life. You can slap me in the face with a fish if I ever do that.

I'm surprised they managed to get someone as big as Robbie Williams on. He has never bothered coming over here to promote himself as a solo act before and considering his new song, the woeful 'Candy' is sellling by the bucket load and is #1 in the UK and doing really well here too (think it's 2 on Itunes) it's odd he'd bother. He's on Graham Norton tomorrow too so you'd think they would know Irish fans would just watch that. Maybe he's going to announce the two dates at the Aviva Stadium he's meant to be doing next summer?

Credit where it's due - the guestlist revealed so far (Amy Huberman, Nigella Lawson and Robbie Williams) is rather good.

If they could just have them, and finish it up at about 11.15pm, it could be an entertaining show. Then RTE could stick on an old Top of The Pops 2 or something afterwards followed by a decent movie, that would be a good evening's television sorted.

The problem is not always the guest list. Ryan is just a weak interviewer mostly. It's far too wooden. Ryan could have the best gusets every weeki but I still would struggle to tune in.

'Fierce' as in 'Fiercely horrific'?I'm willing to let it slide that he has bought calypso back into the charts, but to use 'ring a ring of roses' in the lyrics is unforgivable.

Will watch it. good to get a little idea on what's on! it doesn't hurt to get a lead!!

TBH, it's a reasonably good line-up. I don't and have never watched the show for longer than 20 minutes but the reason I'm tuning in tonight?- NIGELLA LAWSON!!! :D I absolutely LOVE her. I'm switching off as soon as she's done but I can't wait for her.

I'm a big fan of Nigella's too, I've all her cookery books but I think she has been losing the plot at little recently.
Chef Nigella Lawson: ‘France is annoying little country on the way to Italy'

No, no, no, no Nigella! You're so wrong, french food and wine is amongst the finest in the world. End of rant :D

Melanie was meant to appear on the Saturday Night Show before her book was withdrawn from sale, she maybe invited on again in the coming weeks I'd imagine.

As for the Today Show crew they will on the SNS tomorrow evening.

Ally Dick played football for Spurs in the 80s. It's a bonus that it sounds a bit rude
