    Hi,

    I have been dosed with a cold for the past fews days and as miserable as it was I had no sign of a cough until last night. I was feeling much better yesterday and then this dry tickly cough started. My chest in raw and itchy almost. I has pneumonia last year but I really don't want to be running to the doctor for antibiotics if it is just an end of cold cough.

    Can anyone recommend a good otc cough syrup for this? Not benylin or night nurse...tried all them before.

    I usually buy exputex for I think thats for chesty coughs which this isn't.

    I usually use Codinex, find it the best for me anyway !

    Can you get that without a prescription? I am presuming there is codeine in it...

    Viscolex is the same thing as Exputex, chesty cough only.

    Codinex is the best cough suppressant on the market.
