    Adults - €10
    Kids - €5

Looking forward to this game. First time being in the new Lansdowne.

What kind of crowd is expected? I'm guessing about 15,000 will turn up - a healthy attendance for a final, but down on the previous two years, a lot of which had to do with Sligo's massive support for Cup Finals. Are the Derry or the Pats fans stuck in the small stand behind the goal?

I can't see past a Pats win. They're simply the better team and will be too strong. I'm hoping Derry win, though.

It'll be shown live on RTÉ 2.

    Stupid cup tbh.

i will be shocked if there is 15,000 at it. Reckon we will get max 4/5k

Are they keeping the tickets at €10 again this year.

    Yea tickets are €10.

Hoping the Super Saints get to lift the cup. Would really top of a good first season for Liamo. And break the cup jinx! Will be at it myself anyway.

I'd expect Derry to bring the same amount, and then about the same amount of neutrals. A tenner to see a match in the national stadium is great value, and although the novelty of the first final there in 2010 is gone, I'd still expect it to be a crowd puller.

I reckon there be least 10,000 at it. Not whole pile more.

Have been at 12 of last 15 finals, but wont be able to make this one.

    Is there student tickets?

Might head along if the weather's decent, was never as cold as I was at the 2010 final. Oddly enough I'd secretly like to see Pat's win it, but reckon they'll find some way to bottle it.

    Derry have the small stand.

    Nope. You heading over?

Might pop over myself weather depending, been to the last 5 so it would ruin a tradition.

    Might head.

Depends how cold it is. Was frozen at the last two!

    +1 :D

Who will be the 'home team' actually? Derry has a black/yellow away strip, which looks quite decent

Won't go to Lansdowne Road though, I'm too afraid, those drummers turn up again, had three nights without sleep after the second leg in Tolka ;)

Wanting Pats to win is a bone-shuddering last resort, but it has to be done.

A turnaround like the last Pats Derry final would still be funny though:pac:

Derry are at home in red and white and we in navy.

    Same as 2006 :(

I suppose, Derry won the match?

Am too lazy to look it up atm, am listening to the German FA cup ;)

Pats were 0-1 up early on, except Derry equalised

Pats were 1-2 up with 15 minutes left then Derry equalised.

Pats were also 2-3 up at half time in extra time yet lost 4-3 at full time :pac:

There's a couple of us heading up from Kilkenny. I assume you can still get tickets on the day (I made the mistake of paying ticketmaster extra last year)?

Really looking forward to this one. Loads of Derry fans staying down on the Saturday night.

I hear ticket sales are going well in the city. We got an allocation of 6500, it would be great if we could sell them all.

The game is going to be close. We finished the season strongly and it will be the first time is ages that we will have had a full squad to pick from.

I hope plenty of neutrals come along to watch the game. As said, €10 adults and €5 for kids is a great price to see a Final at the Aviva.

Derry need to win to get into the Europa League qualifiers next year.

I think we will just about edge it.

Got myself some "prawn sandwich" seats :D. Looking forward to it.

Joking aside, I'm happy that my 1st trip to the Aviva is to watch a LOI event.

    Junkies and Provos.

If anything kicks off it'll be the most one-sided football row in history.

The cup final journey starts here at this unholy hour. There's a lad on the plane in a Pats jersey, its a little unexpected so I'm taking it as a good sign. Starting to get excited now. . . .I'll never learn

Will be sending my love and support to the Derry lads today. Expecting a narrow victory for the Candystripes. Hope the final is as good as the last one involving these two sides.

Pat Dolan dreaming about people eating seaweed to turn them into super humans?? Absolute tripe as usual from him.

Best of luck to both but I'd like to see a Pats win.

Anybody know what the attendance is lads?

Also surprised Clarke got the nod in goal for Pats hes been at fault for quite a few goals this season for them

Was heading to this but the weather is too cold. Quite good build up coverage o n RTE I thought.

Straight red should have been given for that challenge. Very cautious first half. Hopefully second half is better. Hope Pat's win (this is from a Bohs man)

Think Buckley mentioned something about Murphy getting injured in training during the week or something along those lines.
