    Hello,

I'm looking to do RYA competenet crew and day skipper either here in ireland or someplace sunny but most of all good tuition,

Also as im planning crusing single handed what other courses would be advised?

    Thanks

Some significant time spent in the gym - that would be too tiring for me. Also I'm not particularly experienced so others might disagree but sailing on your own is probably not a good idea for safety reasons. Although the day skipper will touch on these you should probably do a navigation course and a radio course.

OP If I were you I'd join a sailing club rather than going it alone.

If your'e planning on doing single-handed cruising then you should consider the RYA Yachtmaster offshore cert as well. :)
