WEEDLESS PROPELLER?

    Hi, could anyone tell me where i can get a weedless propeller, for either my johnson 8hp, its about 5 years old or my 15hp tohatsu, prob about 10 years old, thanks.

    I'm not sure if "ring prop" are still benign made, we had a little post on them a few weeks ago http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=80868824 and the prop guard seems the way to go.

    yeah prop guard would work but seem to be very expensive. could try and make one up myself i suppose

    You could also try a rope and weed cutter they are like a cutting disc that go on the prop shaft but also cost a few quid. I find sometimes just popping the engine in reverse every now and again can help.
