Is it possible to give an option to turn on https for all requests to boards.ie? It looks like you use it for auth but I think it makes sense for a site like boards to use or at least have the option to use ssl encryption for all requests.

It is something we'd like to to do eventually alright. We don't currently offer SSL for two reasons. Firstly the problem you've seen with stylesheets not loading needs to be solved. Secondly we need to make some changes to how we proxy SSL traffic to our backends to make it more efficient and capable of running the whole site over SSL.
