    Hi all

Hoping there may be some physiotherapists on here that may have some info?
Looking to rent a CPM machine for use after knee replacement surgery?

CPM, also called continuous passive motion, is a device that is used to gently flex and extend the knee joint

My mother has asked her own GP / surgeon, no-one has given her any info...

Mods - not sure where to post this feel free to move if necessary...

You can buy them here, http://www.physioneeds.biz/BrowseProducts.aspx?type=/8/130/

But I dont know why you would want to have one at home? Normally you only use them a few days after surgery to get the flexion back into the leg along with stretches. By the time your mum is leaving the hospital the CPM shouldn't really be needed anymore
