    Hi,

Can anyone recommend either Ben Dunne Lucan or Sanovitae/Clarion?

Im just starting out(again) trying to get into shape with a friend. Trying to find which one is best?

There is a serious price difference but that isnt my main concern. Any other recommendations welcome...

Im not in great shape so I would prefer a quieter gym/not full of bodybuilders to make me feel bad :(

    Thanks

I'm in sano vitae and the main difference is the pool. None in Ben Dunne Lucan. For me that was a selling point and so Ben Dunne lost

I pay €30 a month too which is not much dearer than Ben Dunne

Sano vitae do a deal for €20 but its 9-4 mon to fri I think which could work for some. €30 gets me in anytime and there's a load of classes included too

Sano Vitae is a very nice clean gym so definitely worth checking out, I'm sure they'll let you try for free if you ask

Only downside is for me that the place is very crowded at times but that's just timing for me sometimes to avoid the rush, parking is free for 3 hrs too in hotel car park, anything over is by the hour. 3hrs in the gym would be a very good session though!!! :)

Best of luck choosing a gym!

Thats a good price, I was told 40 per month and 75 upfront :(.

I dont think I would be staying longer than three hours.

    Thanks :)

Have you considered Liffey Valley Fitness?
Ive been a member in Ben Dunne and Liffey Valley and Liffey Valley was far far better, plenty of space, a couple of studios, large weights area and loads of cardio machines, good class timetable too if youre into that, I would recommend getting a trainer for an hour or two though as theyre programs would be very basic and general but that would be the same in either gym.
Ben Dunne also gets very crowded at peak times whereas Liffey Valley was always comfortable enough.
If youre willing to spend a bit more and youre willing to travel a little bit further to get in great shape Id drop out to crossfit west dublin as well though and have a look.
