Can't afford doctor

I'm a 22 year old college student repeating my final year of college, I have pretty bad OCD and am quite depressed and really need medication. As I can't get a job and am a student living with parents I am entitled to no dole and have no money at all. My parents refuse to pay for the doctor for me because they don't take me seriously, and have done so before only for me to stop taking the medication. I really really need some help either from CBT or medication or both. I attended CBT before and it helped but it was outrageously expensive and my parents couldn't continue to send me. What can I do?

is there no doctor in college?

my college always had a subsidised doctor, and it was free for those in hardship

Yes but I don't think they can prescribe things for you? I'll try but I think you are supposed to go to your local GP in order to get that...

Of course they can. Your student counselling service may have a CBT qualified person on the staff, or be able to recommend one. Otherwise you might find this useful. And CBT may be available for free in the HSE mental health services.
