Shoulder problem

Hey looking for advice based on info I give please .

25 year ok male . I remember about 4 years ago playing rugby just a mess game with mates . A friend (heavy guy ) landed on my shoulder . I remember hearing a tearing sound but being young and stupid I ignored it . Over the years I have paid for it though .

Past few weeks I've noticed this :

Pain when pressing on my AC joint. Popping/grinding noise when rotating it . Weakness and fatigue . Sometimes I get a dull ache . It's takes longer for my left (the injured ) shoulder to recover after working out then my right. When I stretch a certain way the shoulder feels as if its about to pop out . Feels unstable .

    Any recommendation ?

    Cheers Anthony

    Hi Anthony

Boards.ie have a rule forbidding the asking and providing of medical advice on all forums and what you have asked for is a diagnosis based on a list of symptoms you provided, which would consitute seeking medical advice.

IMO, nobody, no matter what qualifications they hold or how good they think they are can or should attempt to make a diagnosis over the internet, without being able to physically examine you. With the best will in the world you could be offered advice which could exacerbate your problem.

You said that being young and stupid, you ignored the issue up to now. Well now that you are older and wiser, please make a visit to your GP, a sports dotocr or a good physio and get a propper diagnosis and treatment plan.

    Best of luck

This. I sympathise with your problem but it's against the rules of the forum to offer or seek medical advice. Thread locked.
