I'm a big fan of Camille O'Sullivan, I love her recording of Nick Cave's - 'The Ship Song'.

    Ah Harry, be fair!

Eimear Quinn has plenty of talent, there is no way she is relying on her husband to get a gig.

Fair enough MrsD. She has plenty of talent right enough but it can't do her much harm to be married to the head honcho.

Mark Pollock is a guest tonight.
Unbroken by blindness at 22, Mark competed in ultra endurance races across deserts, mountains, and the polar ice caps including an epic 2 month expedition race to the South Pole. He won silver and bronze rowing in the Commonwealth Games.

In July 2010 the challenge chose Mark. A tragic fall left him paralysed. Now Mark is living his own lessons, a pioneer exploring the frontiers of spinal cord injury recovery.

He will be promoting the 'Run in the Dark', a 5km and 10km run being held worldwide on November 14th to raise funds for his own and other charities.

When are RTE going to make another lip-dub video with Aoibhinn on her own?

Give the people what they want!

Local journalist Angela Doyle-Stuart will appear on the Late Late Show tonight (Friday 9.30pm) to talk about her forthcoming book with RTE host Ryan Tubridy.

Angela, a former Kilkenny People columnist who now works for broadcaster KCLR, has written the book ‘Loving Lisa: Stolen Life, Stolen Dreams’, about her sister, the late Lisa Doyle. The book will launch next Wednesday, and has already attracted a great deal of interest.

Lisa Doyle was a former Rose of Tralee contestant who was murdered by her Fiancée.

"A beautiful young woman with a cherubs voice that floats in an ethereal cloud of it's own making" - The Sunday Independent"

She is daycent enough, but whoever wrote that quote was either taking the piss or trying to get off with her.

Aoibhinn's prize for loveliest lip dub was her own Holiday Show.

Excellent news - I, for one, look forward to watching lots of Aoibhinn in the evening. :)

Mammy O'Rourke will be on the show to plug her auto-biography, 'Just Mary'.

Ryan sounds bunged up with head cold with that promo before the news

Could be a foreshadowing metaphor for the show ahead

    Mary O'Rourke

    Thats my mind made up.

    Pub it is.

I can't sit through an interview with that woman.

Given how she and her family have contributed to screwing up this country, I find it difficult to understand how she is afforded so much airtime.

And now she is being invited on to plug her book. This baffles me.

Wouldn't happen in Greece or Portugal.

I'll endure Tubridy tonight for Bryan Cranston. Breaking Bad is the finest show since The Wire. Fantastic actor and funny guy too. His American talk show interviews are always a hoot, so even Tubridy can't ruin this one....can he???

(I hope someone tells Ryan that its Cranston's character in the show that has cancer, not him. No misery porn for this interview please RTE)

I hope he asks Mary O'Rourke why she gifted ESB workers 20% pay rises across the board, as Enterprise Minister, helping to wreck the country....but he won't.....

There's very little jazz I like and this is not it. :(

This is just like a bigger, only slightly better version of the awful house band.

Cranston is hilarious, he is a seriously under rated actor.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,585 ✭✭✭✭Lady Chatterton

I'm liking this guy, he is very funny and down to earth.

Edit: I'm talking about Cranston not Tubs.
