Gyms in Mullingar

Just moved to the area so just thought I'd ask and see whats available. Ideally looking for a gym that ticks all boxes as regards equipment and facilities (pool etc would be cool also) which at the end of the day comes at a realistic price and not something from pre recession times. Any ideas/suggestions/recommentations?
    Cheers folks

The main ones would be Bloomfield House Hotel (beside Mullingar Golf Club - on the old Tullamore Road) and the Mullingar Park Hotel (off the N4).

The Park Hotel was only built in the last 10 years (?).

I checked them both out before without actually joining any in the end. Both have pools and the gyms would be about the same in size.

Price wise, at the time, both were about the same.

I would prefer the Park as it is newer and in my IMO a nicer hotel.

But I am sure someone on here who actually uses either gym will point you in the right direction.

    Few things here:

Flex Gym pricewise is great and has most of the equipment needed. It has no pool and opening hours aren't great (at weekends)

Bloomfield - moderately priced, equipment is ok (not much free weights), classes for members, pool and opening hours are good

Park Hotel - pricey, lots of cardio equipment and classes, not much free weights, lovely pool/sauna etc opening hours are good

some local GAA clubs have good facilities with 24/7 access for members

Yeah the impression I get from the Park is like you get the equip and facilities but you pay 5 star prices for it. Some industries seem to have missed the memo informing them that Ireland is in a recession when you see the prices they want for membership's and services etc.

I suppose I was spoiled having 24/7 access to my previous gym but moving to new places I have to willingly accept that things wont be the same. So in a sense hours of operation are important as my work environment means I have to be flexible which in turn means I'll need a gym that offers me the best flexibility considering this.

Flew Gym sounds very good but the opening hours don't sound helpful.

Considering the size of the town I kinda thought there would be a list of gyms an arm long to choose from but it doesn't seem that way. Gonna have to go to each gaff and check it out I suppose.
