Just got my spring retainer a few days ago. pain the hole, can't eat or talk properly:(

Anyway my 21st is next week & just wondering does anyone know if its ok to leave the retainer out for the night? Will it mess up my teeth?

    Anyone with experience with this?

Any opinions or thoughts would be great:)

Only your own orthodontist can answer you....& as you pay him for such a service; why wouldn't you avail of his advice?

Dianthus is a dentist...lots of experience with retainers there. And it depends on the type of retainer, and only your orthodontist can answer that for you. So anyone else will have experience of their retainer which is 100% not the same as yours or your situation, so their advice is invalid.
