A teenager who goes by the name Pinkie Pie has made $60,000 (£37,446) for hacking into Google for a second time.

Google offers the "bug bounty" to hackers who can find security problems with its products.

The youngster found holes in the Chrome web browser that were described by Google as "critical" and called the finding "another beautiful piece of work", according to VentureBeat.

Google fixed the problem with a software update about 10 hours after the bug was identified.

The competition took place on Tuesday at a conference called Hack in the Box in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I must brush up on my l33t hacking skillz 'cause $60k is nice walking around money

He hacked Google? Yeah, I'm sure he stole all their interwebs and disabled all their firewall ports on the way out.

He found a potential vunerability in an internet browser. Pathetic reporting by Sky. It's the equivalent of having a headline in the Sports section of "Man U Rovers win Cup by 3 Touchdowns"

Where does it say it was a male?
Does "Pinkie Pie" (my little pony) not sound a bit more feminine?

It's probably a Brony, with a name like that.

Until the kid launches a DDOS attack on Google, I won't believe that he/she did any real hacking.

I'll believe he's a real hacker when he's created a GUI interface in Visual Basic to find Google's IP.

That's what 'hacking' is. I'm not sure exactly what vulnerability he found but it might for example, allow someone to create web page with a script with direct access to your OS and cause all sorts of harm.
