Fás eCollege courses for unemployed

I'm signed up to start Accounting Technicians course through Fás ecollege, I am currently unemployed so I do not have to pay for this course. It's a 2 year course so I am a bit worried about what will happen if my circumstances change. What happens if I find work between now and when the 1st year of the course ends in May? Will I then be eligible for fees for the current year? Then will I be able to complete the course (2nd year) through ecollege if I have a job? Has anyone found themselves in a similar situation? I'd love to hear how it worked out for someone who got work while studying for free with ecollege.
