    Hi

Long story short, I've lost a good bit of weight over the past year but seem to not be able to loose anymore, although i'm very happy with my fitness levels.

I've gone from not being able to run for more than 2 minutes to running the half Marathon there recently in 1 hour 50+

    I'm 5Foot 9inches

    I used to weigh 15 stone 2 pounds - 212pounds - 96KG
    Currently weigh 12 stone 10 pounds - 178pounds - 80KG
My BMI is 25.2 Body Fat Index 28.3% / Mass Body Fat 23.5KG

I go to the gym 4 times a week, running 10K two days, free weights abs class and spinning and abs class the last day.

I'd consider my diet very healthy - I eat the same thing Mon - Fri
Breakfast - Porridge with all bran & raisins
Lunch - homemade salad with either chicken or salmon
Dinner - Soup or Brown Pitta etc light dinners

Weekends I would be very cautious over what I eat, i'd have your average fish and two veg dinner etc. Drink only when I go out (not every weekend)

I'm pushing myself more and more in the gym and not seeing ANY difference in my weight,I have been a constant 12 stone 10 now for months. No matter what I do... i can't push myself any harder in the gym, I've knocked off several minutes off my run times and after the weights my muscles ache for days.

    Any advice. Thanks for reading.

    EDIT:
I've no ideal set weight I would like to be, would just love to lose more weight on my stomach and chest.

Your nutrition is poor. I'd guess your portion sizes are screwed up, and you probably snack quite a bit.

    Hey thanks for the reply

In what way is my nutrition poor?
    Portion Sizes:
2 scoops of porridge, low fat milk
Homemade salad lots of veg and a chicken breast or salmon darn

Do you mean they're too big, too small?

ZERO snacks Mon-Friday anyway and I dont have binge days at the weekend.

Bit of an oxymoron. I'm not saying this is the reason for your problem as there is generally never just one source but this is the first thing I'd improve on just for your own enjoyment of your food.

    Thanks ridonkulous

What would you suggest to mix it up with?

maybe try boiled eggs or omelet with meat/tuna.
eat more protein at dinner too, lean meat (about a fist sized portion, with lots of 'colorful' veg.
what exactly is in your soup / brown pita? these meals mean nothing without details. could all be for naught if its a cheese soup with deep fried bacon bits, or a brown pita stuffed with pie and chips ;-)

if its weight you are trying to shift tho it will come down to calorie intake vs calorie expenditure. how many calories do you burn with all this exercise and what is the value of all this food you are eating?

take track of the calories you eat for a few days and work it out.
