Thoughts on this one then? Should be a cracking game anyway!

The odds of 11/4 on Real Madrid (widely available) and 11/5 draw no bet (Coral) are too tempting to pass up for me.

Madrid 11/4 WOW! That's a big price. I honestly can see them winning this even though it's away.

Ronaldo and Benzema will rip the patched up Barca defence easily.

    Barcelona 2-3 Real Madrid

Barca to dominate at home for me.

Defence will be vulnerable but i feel it will be a 'we'll score more than you' games, with goals at both ends but the majority of them going past Casillas.

I'll say 3-1 Barca but who knows.

    Hoping for a cracker.
    3-3 @ 33/1

I love these games....the real winners are neutrals! The two most talented players in the world on the same pitch against each other...I leaning towards a RM win...Poyel is a big loss for Barca

If the game is clean Madrid will get a result. There will be less pressure on the ref now the ref chaser Puyol is out.

Sounds like no Pique for Barca today. I'm assuming Song would slot in?

Have the popcorn ready for this one.

I think we see good few goals and 3-2 win for Madrid.

    Saw this on twitter...

If Ronaldo scores tonight, he will be the first player to ever score in 6 successive Classicos. Not bad for someone that "doesn't turn up" to big games.

I wish it didn't clash with the Milan derby.

Ah come on, would you not start this sh1te already.

In the La Liga thread, Someone said "The whole club is rotten to the core", about Real Madrid, when Di Maria was acting the mick in a match a couple of weeks ago.

    I replied:
"Bit harsh. Im a barca fan btw... You cant say the whole club is. Some players would do your head in, and do dirty things now and again, but so do a couple of barca players. Like every football club actually."

But My point is Richard. Lets just leave out the bull****. We all know that the usual suspects will act the mick tonight, Sergio, di maria, pepe, alves. There will be dives, there will be shouting at the ref. There will be some dodgy tackles.
I just cant wait to see the two best teams in the world play against eachother. O and the best players too.

Who said that? No one has said that since around 2005, 2006, when he was really young. But that "saying" still lingers.

He is one of the top players in the world consistently for the last 5 years. Goal record is unreal. He has done it at the highest level, in the biggest games. End of!

Dig out the Messi v Ronaldo threads on here over the last couple of years. Even a few Clasico match threads in the past, you'll def see plenty saying he doesn't do it in the big games.

Well the last few threads on madrid/barca have all got what you said "Who said Ronaldo cant do it in big games?"...

And Im sure if you do go further back you will see comments saying "Ronaldo cant do it in big games", but as you may have guessed, they are wrong, and obviously trying to wind up Real Madrid fans.

Adriano starting at centre back for Barca...

Valdes; Alves, Mascherano, Adriano, Alba; Busquets, Fabregas, Xavi; Pedro, Messi, Iniesta.

Casillas, Arbeloa, Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo, Alonso, Khedira, Di Maria, Özil, Ronaldo, Benzema.

Serious lack of pace in Barca's central defence pair. Great attacking and passing line up though, Hopefully Villa will get some game time.

Adriano is quick isn't he ? His pace wouldn't be what concerns me with him playing cb .

Is Song injured? I would have though he would have been a better option than Adriano in central defeence.

Looking at the barca 11. I cant see Madrid losing this one. Barca look so weak at the back.

    With Paddypower

    Madrid are 11/4 win,
    Draw is 11/4,
Madrid draw no bet is 15/8.

I think the bookies have this wrong. I know barca are at home btw. But they shouldnt be favourite by far against these.
