[FPL] GW 7 - Matchday Thread

40 minutes to deadline - I'm still waiting for any scent of Man City team news. Hopefully Tevez starts and rewards all those managers who have stuck with him despite losing 0.3m on him this week.

And can Hazard pull out of his mini-slump or will Mata continue his resurgance? The only thing which is guaranteed is I will yet again leave a bucketload of points on my bench...

Sold Tevez for Ba this week,CL rotation is now a big factor in games so this must affect team selection for everyone.
I think it was Lemlin who said elsewhere that he/she may be looking to select players not involved in the CL to avoid the dreaded 15min 2 pointers,

This week for me invovles looking at Yaya,Michu and Hazard,looks like i will be selling one of these this week so i guess the worst performer goes......
Worst case this week is a Chelsea romp and CS as i only have Hazard and was forced to captain him given the likelhood of a romp,i just hope he is invloved

Thank god that deadline has passed. I had two transfers and it was wrecking my head to use one of them incase i regretted it. Hazard to Mata or Bale, Cazorla to Gervinho and Tevez to Ba were all the ones i was debating.

Held off in the end so hopefully i wont regret any of them too much.

Yep it was and with my wildcard I'm still thinking about it. United and City got stung badly in the CL last year so Fergie and Mancini aren't taking chances this year.

Toure playing in an advance role the day I transfer him out :rolleyes: This can only end badly. Still though, I have Fletcher up against a weak enough defence and Tevez who will be City's main point of attack. I expect goals from both.

Nervous today. Made my second and third transfer of the season today.

This is exactly what I want to happen. A goal would be nice but anything more and I'll be regretting not putting him as captain. 1 from Tevez and 1 from Fletcher would do nicely.

Tevez looks like a man who'll get more assists than goals to be honest.

He could be in for bonus in this game though. He's playing well. I just hope he isn't hauled off early as per the norm.

City are absolute bastards for this, it happened to me constantly last season, I'd pat myself on the back for going with Aguero/Balotelli and foreseeing Dzeko/Tevez's benching and then they'd come off the bench and score a hundred and eleventy million points. Much to the delight of those wailing in anguish when the teams were announced. Buggering Mancini, I hate him so .
