    Hi,

Looking for the above for a 1987 Merc 45 Classic.

Also, carb is peeing out the fuel, since I put in a new filter. Any ideas?

    thanks

If it's electric start this should do you, as for the leak it could be a bit of dirt blocking one of the needles from when you changed the filter or the needle is just worn also check the float is not stuck or saturated and is at the right setting if all that fails you might need a new carb kit. Where about on the carb leaking from is the vent in the bowl?

Thanks for that Fergal. Great diag, where'd you get them?

Fuel seems to be coming out the vent. Im wondering if its the gaskets. But then, its only started since I changed the filter.

If it's coming out the vent I'd say it's the float or the jet needle It might also be worth checking the needle that the float pushes up and down.
