Someone send this to French and English rugby unions, with a simple note.

"When it means this much to Racing, Castre, Quins and Sale, then and only then you can have more places"

Connacht finished joint second last in the pool stages last season behind most of those teams you mentioned (Sale weren't in it last year). Passion is great, enthusiasm is even better, but skill and quality are more important.

Sorry to be Mr BuzzKillington but it's true.

That's a fair statement, I was a little effected by the video. I do have a response, but its not a debate for this thread (my bad for almost starting it)

    looking forward to the documentary!

Looks good except why do they have to bleep out the language? It's on at 9.30 PM not AM! Hopefully that was only for the preview.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,320 ✭✭✭Teferi

I'd imagine that was for the ads.

  • yet again, my abroad-ness hurts.

I think we might be able to catch this on the tg4 player though. Hopefully they won't geoblock it!

There was a preview of it on Matt Cooper yesterday that wasn't censored - this was at about 6-ish. So I can't imagine we'll have any issues there.

Can see why Elwood is leaving due to stress and wanting a break. He cares too much. He seems to take a defeat like a punch in the stomach.

The man is in bits and that was a year ago, great line "lads ye'll have a chance to hit fellas from Toulesse on Friday night leave your team mates alone"

Jesus christ the first part's only over and i'm already getting emotional. coming from a die hard munster family i actually cannot put into words the passion and pride I have for this team!

got some free tickets for a magners glasgow game about six years ago and have never looked back.

what the hell is it about connacht?so proud. GWAN THE LADS.

    Anyone else getting emotional?

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators, Regional Midwest Moderators Posts: 24,039 Mod ✭✭✭✭Clareman

Great show so far, getting the impression that it took them 3 games to realise that they were as good as the other teams and that they were really badly affected by the losing streak that they went through.

Yeah, you'd want to have a heart of reckon stone not to feel it during that clip after the Gloucester game.

Really enjoying this so far. Great insight. And the missus is developing an entirely new respect for Loughney.....didn't see that one coming.

So I just bought a Connacht jersey.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,204 ✭✭✭kensutz

That was quite simply superb. Any rugby fan would get goosebumps watching that. I always had a soft spot for Connacht but this was just unbelievable. Even getting emotional watching that game against Harlequins after sitting in the rain taking photos at it taking ages to dry out. Was worth it.
