Those with SKy and Freesat branded equipment should not notice any difference but for those with other FTA Satellite boxes:

    On 12 October:

BBC Three / CBBC and BBC News will move to
    10.818 V 22000 5/6

BBC Four / CBeebies and BBC Red Button stream 1 will move to
    10.773 H 22000 5/6

    Source: BBC Blog

Lots of other interesting information in blog this too, including that BBC 2 HD is not coming until next year.

A lot of BBC2s content is broadcast in HD on the BBC HD channel, but you probably knew that.

Also BBC Alba moving to 10.803H 22000 5/6.

I noticed that BBC TV & Radio will now not be available on the continent, except for some parts of France.

I pity expats in Spain etc. Broadband and IP trickery will be their only solution.

Just a 'bump' for this to remind combi box owners that are due to lose:

BBC Three / CBBC, BBC Four / CBeebies and BBC News in the early hours of tomorrow morning (Friday 12th) as the BBC are moving them around on their transponders.

Retune from tomorrow to pick the channels up in the new position.

    Retuning Details:
BBC Three / CBBC and BBC News will move to
    10.818 V 22000 5/6

BBC Four / CBeebies and BBC Red Button stream 1 will move to
    10.773 H 22000 5/6

    BBC Alba will move to
    10.803 H 22000 5/6

how can you just retune just them channels on a triax tsc114

Really crap that they're cutting down on the red button video streams :( won't be able to get simultaneous live coverage of both tables at the Crucible next year, and MotoGP Extra, Moto2, and Moto3 coverage will be dumped if there is any other sport clashing with it e.g. golf (feckin' golf which goes on all weekend and takes priority over any other programming  )

    I'm partial to your abracadabra,

I'm raptured by the joy of it all.

All they've left of that is the Open and half of the US Masters. And the Walker Cup every second year.

Something weird going on with 3 and 4 on sky. Ch 210 and 211 are doubled. EPG shows listing on first, and no listing on second and none of them are working.

Very strange ........ I have not retuned any of the channels ...... Ariva 120

BBC3, BBC4, Alba all working ..... but seemingly without EPG info

BBC3 has Andy Williams on as I write; BBC 4 a film with Robin Williams and Alba BBC News

    23.30 Sun 14th

EDIT ..... wonder if the channels have swapped? ...

    BBC4 10803
    BBC3 10773
    Alba 10818

BBC 3 seems to be acting very strangely on its new frequency ,the signal strength drops to zero every few minutes ,very odd.

how can you just retune just them channels on a triax tsc114

+1 for this question - anyone have a simple way to alter just these channels on this combo-box? On tvtrade.ie on this page, under downloads, he has a downloadable list of channels, but it looks out of date (named "May").
If you download such a list and install it on the TRIAX, does this skip having to re-tune, inputting the frequencies, etc. directly?

And if so, does anyone have an up to date file they could share for this box?

    click menu on the remote
    go to transponder list
find transponder 10.818 V 22000 5/6 and press blue button to scan it
    then save results
and they will appear at end of the channel list

Same here. Both stations listed twice, one of each with "No Listings Available", the other two with the correct listings, but give the "There is a technical fault with this channel" message when I try to watch either.

Got my BBC stations sorted, just unplug your sky box to reset but leave it that little bit longer unplugged.I had tried this already but it seems i was not leaving it plugged out long enough.

Hi - I have a Grundig FreeSat Box, couple of years old, and I can't sort the BBC3/4 issue - have tried turning off and there's no 'transponder' category on the menu button. Has anybody got an idea what to do? Cheers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2 garthurs

Thanks - I basically did a complete re-install and BBC3 and 4 now back. Cheers

I haven't had to retune my BBC radio stations on my FTA Technomate.
I thought that they were going to move on the 15th.

    BBC Four
    10.773 H 22000 5/6

Do you get any channels at all?

Figured it out Mark, when I scanned originally I did so under "installation type DB-S" , tried again and rescanned under "installation type - all " and the job is oxo .Some extra channels got as well.
