Not sure. I guess that must be the detroit game. Thought maybe the green bay game might have been worth a look.

I prefer when there aren't any Giants prime time games. If there are, then I have to wait until the evening of the next day to watch it and I need to avoid hearing the result, which I've found very difficult to do so far this year.

Titans will struggle against the Vikes.. However I'm predicting that C2J will outshine Peterson.

    Titans to win by 10

Interesting to see how the Bill's will play against the 49er's after there hammering over the week end. And San Francisco now need to push on as the cardinals are still in the lead in the NFC west division.

No way. CJ2K was poor until the game got out of hand in Houston. Ponder hasn't thrown an interception this year. It should be another very efficient Vikings win, after all they are at home. I always loved their offense, but their defense has really stood up to be counted.

Wouldn't it be nice to see the NFL reduce the preseason programme and extend the regular season to maybe 18 games.

Everyone has a bad week :p

I just have a feeling the Titans will step up and be counted this weekend.

It may well just be fan boy-ism.. but its a feeling

No chance of that anyway. Peterson doesn't tend to get outshone, even after having a knee reconstructed.

Locker's out, which i'm kind of disappointed with even though I like him as a player. I just think the young QB in a loud dome against a good pass rush could struggle. Hasselbeck will be experienced against that.

After an off season of idiots predicting them to have 0-2 wins, it's kind of strange to see the Vikes verging on being overrated. A close game imo, with Harvin and Peterson doing just enough to snag a win. Keep an eye on Harrison Smith, he's really starting to come to the fore

Hulk I see where you're coming from, it's logic!
However.. I just have a feeling Johnson is going to run wild this weekend, dont ask me why!

No Colts on thanksgiving this year.
Texans are facing the Lions (rather than the Colts. It was a toss up between the two when the schedules were been made up), Redskins are going to Dallas & the Jets are hosting the Patriots.

Any thoughts on Cardinals @ Rams tonight? Hard to believe the Cardinals could be 5-0 after tonight.

Started out brightly but has now become a defensive battle on both sides of the field....currently 10-3 to The Rams

Hope Danny Amendola is not out for too long. He has worked so hard to get to where he is and seems like a good guy.

Arizona this year remind me a bit of the 09 broncos....solid team with a good defence but a poor QB that started off 6-0 but got found out and finished 8-8...could see something similar happening with AZ here

St.Louis with their 3-2 record have now surpassed their amount of wins from last season.

Nothing to do with their QB... their Oline gave up 9 sacks!

He looked pretty dazed after a few hits!

They gave up 7 or so against the Dolphins last week as well.

Hard to get the ball to recievers when you are looking at the turf instead of your wideouts.

But yeah, I do see where you are coming from. I feel the same about the Vikings.

can the eagles continue their good start to the season? some nailbiting games so far in a very very tough schedule.
next up steelers, should be a cracker.

Glad I didn't start my Cards today!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,445 ✭✭✭frostie500

Very impressed by the Rams defence last night. Their front four put so much pressure on Kolb all night that there was little he could do other than try and get the ball out quickly but even then the coverage by the Rams secondary was very effective. Really impressive stuff.

Cant put any of the blame on Kolb. 17 sacks in two games, that's a joke and the Cards need to protect him much better. i think that Kolb has actually looked pretty good for most of this season. He isnt playing at the level to justify the investment that the Cards made but he's been pretty good and is showing some signs similar to what we saw when he was in Philie

Surely there has to be a few better O-Line men out there than what the Cards have. They really miss Levi Brown (imagine that). Is there any big name free agent O-line out there or could they possibly trade with some team?

Have to say was impressed with Kolb in first half. Second half was poor but not his fault, he was taking some shots.

Had a feeling they'd win but rams played better than I thought they would. Their d was very good against a poor card n line. Bradford made some cracking throws. Hopefully amendola isn't out for too long cause they'll need him back to be able to move the ball.

Just watched the Cards Vs Rams on Gamepass, couldn't help but feel sympathy for poor oul kevin Kolb. Fecking no O Line protection whatsoever, 17 sacks in 2 games is beyond ridiculous. Fair play to him to for showing plenty of balls going for the pass, when he knew a big hit was coming.

Have to say I love it when everybody doubts the Patriots. It doesn't happen often and usually when it happens they destroy the opposition.

What games is everyone watching today? Ravens at 6pm and then Broncos and Patriots for me. Very doubtful I'll get to see any of the late game until tomorrow.

    Redzone then Manning vs Brady

Except when it's against quality opposition.

Hopefully Brady tears the Broncos up.

Lance Moore out for the Saints, bit of a boost from an impossible job stop Saints passing game to nearly impossible :D

Chiefs are a turnover machine. Got to punish them with TD's though!
