Hazard seems the obvious choice for those who have kept the faith, but i have a niggling feeling he's destined for 2 points.

Think CL games will reveal alot. Bale at home to Villa could also work well but i don't have him.

    Too many options!

Baines, (C)Jelavic vs Wigan (Away) << I'll probably make Jelavic Cap'n, I got a strong feeling that he'll score/assist; WIGAN just have 1 clean sheet in their last 6 fixtures!!

Ba vs ManUnited (Home) << AMAZING form. 5 goals in the past 3 matches. 'nuff said.

Michu vs Reading (Home) << Potential comeback match for Michu, should score (I hope)

A.Cole, Hazard vs Norwich (Home) << Potential comeback for Hazard though I wouldn't bet on it

Bale vs Aston Villa (Home) << Do I need to tell you about his current form!? Manchester United were in ruins!

Cazorla vs WHU (Away) << Probably not the best choice for this GW

(VC)Lambert vs Fulham (Home) << Could be a possibility considering his last 3 goals came at home (1 vs MUFC, 2 vs AVL) AND he's scoring every alternate Gameweek irrespective of the fixture (Scored away at the Etihad in his first EPL match)

I'm spoiled for choice this week as to who I can captain but I've given the armband to Jelavic and made Lambert ViceCap'n

arrggg,I hate when other people beside me do the poll, alot of players have been left out here and most people would like to know the percentages, going with suarez myself

I am going to go with Gareth Bale at home as captain this week.

    Bale at home to Villa
Hazard not starting tonight which suggests he will at the weekend. That might swing it for me despite his previous captain fail.

    Why are the results hidden?

Did you make the poll public?

Mods can you please amend to show poll?

Guideline when posting poll suggests keeping it short, so after 10 I left it - ill leave it to you in future, especially after such a fail anyway with hiding the results :p

    Jelavic away to Wigan
Hazard has the tastiest fixture, but I'm wary of putting the armband on a player who isn't in form no matter what the opposition. Still, might end up going for him, undecided so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,727 ✭✭✭darego

got mata in and stuck it on him.

    RVP away to Newcastle
Michu at home. Tempted to bring in Mata and give him the armband straight away.

Tevez didn't play last night but he was on the bench so went with him, at home to Sunderland should be a goal or two either way.

Changed from baines hopefully won't backfire.

Is that a good idea so early on? I mean, Mata just hit form. Should we give Hazard a chance or should we bring Mata in right away?

MODS, can we change these polls to allow viewing of results. It's silly and pointless to have hem otherwise.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 780 ✭✭✭jossnjuice

have had Mata for a couple of weeks now, but the armband is on him or Jelavic.......Mata at the moment!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,034 ✭✭✭Theboinkmaster

Until the mods fix the poll, top results so far:

    Hazard 26%
    Suarez 15%
    Michu 10%
    RVP 10%
    Torres 9%

    Bale at home to Villa
What is the craic with these polls that cant be viewed every week???? Pointless!

Going with Hazard, would prefer Mata though to be honest with the form his getting into!

    Torres at home to Norwich
Ignoring Mata and Hazard and going with Bale myself. At least I know he'll definitely start and should play nearly all of the game. Having Chelsea, City and United players just means a guessing game every week over whether they'll start or not. I'd rather have the armband on someone who's both in form and is a nailed on starter.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 253 ✭✭rock whore

Going with Ba. He's on fire atm, figuratively speaking, and Utd look vulnerable in defence. Could be a high scoring game with Rooney & RVP possibly starting at the other end.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

    Tevez at home to Sunderland
Hazard, Tevez or Van Persie for me. Have it on Tevez at the minute but will more than likely change to Hazard before the deadline.

like this. Also going with Ba myself.

Mata (c) also have hazard ;) just for the week. could work out well

There really isn't much Bale (c) love on here is there.....considering he's the second highest voted for on FFScout.

    Tevez at home to Sunderland
Can't see how anyone would captain Suarez. Stoke have conceeded 6 goals in six games. And 3 of those games were against Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Lol, kinda risky, don'chya think? [Considering others have better fixtures and a higher probability of racking up big points]

I don't have Bale/Mata/Hazard/Torres. Michu's the third highest on the poll so far so it's hardly that outrageous of a choice. Although I guess my run of good captain choices has to come to an end at some point!

Gonna go with RVP. I think Rooney could be the catalyst for a prolific weekend for RVP. Also I don't have any of the other players.

Could hazard be the Ashley young of this season. An absolute barnstorming start points wise but then became quite mediocre as the season progressed.

Hmm, just checking out a few old results. City have scored 8 goals in their last two home games against Sunderland. And Tevez had a nice wee rest midweek. Aaand he's just become my captain this week. That's it, I'm leaving it at that. My head is wrecked with this bloody game. I'm definitely not playing again next year

I meant that Bale is both on form and pretty much assured of playing most of the game. Yes, Mata is on form but whether he'll start and how long he'll play for are anyone's guess.

I voted for Suarez, but I've had a complete change of heart, Stoke's defense is just too good in my mind.

Hazard is now my captain this week, with A.Cole vice captain.

Newcastle are without Taylor, Colo and Krul for the game Sunday! RVP (now supported by Rooney) is a tempting choice. On Aguero at the moment but not even that sure he'll start...

Any love for Fellaini at Wigan ?

    Bale at home to Villa
Cue Hazard goal/assist glut tomorrow but going with RVP captain. Reaching good form on the back of two goals midweek. Surely he'll deliver against a depleted Newcastle defence. Should be a goal fest too from both sides!

    Michu at home to Reading
Im going to go with augero, I went with bale 2 weeks ago and he was a great differentialto hazard, im hoping augero does the same this gw.

iv got both bale and hazard so it wont be too bad if they produce something, if augero gets me at least an assist il be happy.

    Bale at home to Villa
I'm switching from Hazard to RVP as I feel Hazard will let me down again. I can see the Man Utd - Newcastle game with a decent score sheet and RVP with a goal or two.

Having had a crap start, I'm in need of a risky move. Gervinho gets the armband so. Might make things worse but I'm slipping down the pecking order. I could use a wildcard but I think I can work the kinks out.... Here's hoping....

Gonna give it to Torres. Hopefully he will get a couple against Norwich tomorrow. *fingers crossed* RVP as vice captain.

    Aguero at home to Sunderland
Captained Suarez last week and I'll keep the faith in him again. Aguero would be an automatic choice for me, but I don't have him yet so it's a simple choice really. Hazard vc.

Why are people picking Aguero, surely he wont get 90 minutes on the pitch, tevez was rested in the mid week game so im thinking he is a cert .Tevez is my captain with hazard vc.

Have Cole as captain, Im hoping he will get a clean sheet and an assist which should bring a couple of bonus points too. I Have VP, Tevez and Mata so I may change my mind in the morning

Nah, he doesn't have a good away record. I'll bring him in next week (away vs Norwich) for either of Hazard or Michu.

Hazard has gone off the boil recently, so maybe thinking Tevez
