Recently got six hens to replace the ones mr fox took, only about 20 weeks old and ive noticed they are suffling and shaking their heads a bit,ive treated them with vermox and also put apple cidre vinegar in the water. They dont have lice or mite and the roost is also free of the critters.
Curious as to anything else i might give them to clear the "head cold"
    Cheers.

I would be calling into vet and ask them, you tried all I would have.

Give them proper worm medication, Flubenvet 1% is good and has no withholding period.
I worm ours every change of season with Parabendazole/Fenbendazole.
Vermox isn't really a reliable wormer, I say this as someone who feeds Organic feed to the chickens.
