I'd be a lot more surprised if this wasn't the type of thing Nick Griffin was posting on twitter.

I did not like it when the BNP was pretending to not be anti-Irish.......sigh relieved...

Nick Griffin is an ignorant, self-publicising waste of human life.

He posts/says these things to get attention. To be offended by his comments is to consider him of any significance. Ignore him and he will go away.

It might be offensive if he wasn't such a joke...I mean look at the guy...if he's an example of good British stock lord help them:pac:

Surprising considering the vocal encouragement he gave Irish immigrants to join the BNP.

Combined with repeated talk that he has been a bit Stoke on Trent in the past I m not sure if he really knows what his policies are. His theories have more contradictions than something RTDH would post.

Britain has shamefully allowed the terrorists in N.I. to come close to winning when the IRA could have been destroyed years ago.

Government weakness has led to hundreds of deaths and given those same terrorists a share in government.
We would end all attempts to force the people of Northern Ireland to accept foreign interference in their affairs and deal with terrorism – from whatever side – once and for all.

No one with links to a terrorist organisation that refuses to lay down its arms should be allowed to enter government. We would abolish state-supported segregation in education. In the long run, we wish to end the conflict in Ireland by welcoming Eire as well as Ulster as equal partners in a federation of the nations of the British Isles.

The BNP's stance on Northern Ireland circa 2010.

Somebody asked him that and he said "my ancestors left years ago" as if that disqualifies him or something.

He also called EDL member Tommy Robinson (aka Stephen Lennon) an Irishman cause his parents are, he can't he be English etc. He refered to him as a fenian bastard too. Lol.

Being anti republican isn't the same as anti Irish though. Not that I dont think it isn't reprehensible for a public official to tweet the phrase "Fenian bastards" nor that I dont loathe the orange order and this vile celebration.

If he weren't such a joke, he'd be dangerous.

Story doing the rounds that he was ranting yesterday to some Orange band-members about Islam and foreigners ruining "his islands". When one of the bandmembers comes up face to face with him and says that his wife is Asian.

I would loved to have been a fly on the wall for that conversation.

*Doctor's today have removed a lambeg drum from Nick Griffin's butt*

    http://www.bnp.org.uk/news/national/edl-exposed

    Around the 24 minute mark.

I think I read him mocking Tommy Robinson's grandfather as a fenian on one of his tweets down the page.

The thing about twitter, it's entirely personalised. You can just follow news feeds and things like letters of note if you want. You hate your twitter, or you're not on it.
No point hating a convenient and easily accessible medium because you disagree with some idiot using it or you would hate the whole of the Web.
