Hi ladies just wondering has anyone advice here. came off the pill in jan as i had been on it near five yrs and felt i needed a break as i was startin to get headaches and feel v sick during my period my doc said i just needed to change pill as my body had changed over the few yrs etc but.i took a break instead. i was v lucky periods came bk normal straight away more or less. now i think ill go bk on the pill. a lighter one than before. is it ok to take a 9mth break and go bk on or do u need to wait a certain amount of time? I just want to go bk on it for a yr or so until after my wedding nxt yr.

You can take as long or short a break as you like. It doesn't matter. Won't have any effect, as you've said, you've been on it 5 years already.

And if you press the "shift" button you can change one of these "a" into one of these "A" at the beginning of each sentence. It makes your post easier to read you see!

You can go back on it at any time and start it the first day of your period.
