    Hey all,

I'm currently under the weather and I've been to a doc and got help, but I'm looking for foods that high in minerals & vitamins, mainly any minerals & vitamins that are good for the body's immune system?

*Not looking for medical advice* Just dietry advice in order to make sure I'm getting the best mins & vits in my diet

    Cheers

We'd probably have to have a look at a typical day for your diet as the majority of people get ample minerals and vitamins from their diet.

Have you looked into a multivitamin supplement?

If you don't want ensure you are eating plenty of coloured fruit and veg. Whole grains, sweet potatoes etc...

Some suggestions off the top of my head

    Liver (All the b vits, k2, A)
    Kale (K1, B vits, vitamin C, vitamin E)
Brightly coloured fruit and veg (polyphenols, vitamin C, potassium)
    Seaweed (Magnesium, potassium, iodine)
Oysters (100% daily RDA of zinc and in season now!)
    Buckwheat (molybdenum, magnesium)
    Gouda Cheese (K2, calcium)
    Homemade Bone stock (minerals, glycine)
    Cabbage (sulphur)
    Potatoes (potassium)
Unrefined red palm oil (Large amounts of vitamin E and beta carotene)
Pickled herring (large amounts of vitamin D and very delicious)
    Brazil nuts (selenium, vitamin E)

If you ate all the above you would never need to take a single supplement.
