It's 6.2 megabytes to open the front page. That's way too much. Your pictures are far too big, they should be more or less the same dimensions as they appear on the page (e.g. the logo image is 2364*3153px, even though it's only 293*267px on the page).

Get rid of the background totally. The image is horrible, and 'busy' backgrounds rarely work well. Stick to a solid colour.

Your socialmedia div is positioned badly, it causes the page to add an unnecessary scroll bar to the bottom of the page. Don't use 'top' and 'left' to position it, learn how to use floats. You have a Youtube icon which doesn't go to Youtube, not very intuitive

The use of image maps at the bottom of the page for the shows/galleries/events links is also totally unnecessary and not good design

Boardsie Enhancement Suite - a browser extension to make using Boards on desktop a better experience (includes full-width display, keyboard shortcuts, dark mode, and more). Now available through your browser's extension store.

    Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/boardsie-enhancement-suite/

    Chrome/Edge/Opera: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/boardsie-enhancement-suit/bbgnmnfagihoohjkofdnofcfmkpdmmce
