Hi iniets, there should be a number on the plug if not get a plug with the same length of thread. A few guys on here have the same engine and might be able to help a bit more but I'm sure if you bring one to any good motor factors/Halfords/lawnmower shop or marine supplies they will match it up for you.

Hi, I have the Manual for that engine.
This is the only page in the manual that references the spark plug number
I doubt any autofactors will recognise it, but for what it's worth it's
    A11 GOST2043-74
    Gap is 0.85-1.00

I think I have replacement Spark Plugs in my Wind - I'll look in the morning. Also got manual.

The plugs in my engine are NGK B8H s. NGK is a commonly available brand in Ireland and the S I think stands for Short. They seem to work fine for me.

thanks talent thats great ill get them today, any idea what washer to use for gearbox drain screw?

No idea of the washer - let look in my spares box. This was originally my son's engine and he bought if from a guy in Ringsend but the first one he got leaked g/box oil like Niagara falls. We brought it back and the guy changed it no quibble. Hope you didn't get that one!

Just looked at spares that came with it - no sign of washer. Take the nut to a a car parts place and see if they can supply an appropriate washer.

In a car it's often a copper washer but I don't know if that might have an adverse galvanic reaction in an outboard, especially in salt water. Copper would be on the less less noble side of the table but my physics is quite rusty now and I don't know the consequences on an engine. (Methinks I worry too much ... )
