23 minutes to deadline. I currently have Michu, Dyer and Rangel in my starting 11 but that leaves me really vunerable if Swansea don't perform versus Everton. Wondering whether to bring on Santi Cazorla instead of Dyer although he's away to Man City. Decisions decisions

I'd be starting Cazorla anyway. City have been leaking goals and Cazorla is likely to be involved in anything positive Arsenal produce.

    I'm rolling with:

    Jaaskelainen

    McAuley - Rangel - Rafael

    Hazard - Yaya - Cazorla - Michu - Maloney

    RVP - Tevez

    Bench: Begovic, Pogrebnyak, Distin, Jenkinson

I'm undecided on the armband.. have it on RVP at the moment.

    Cazorla!

Everton playing well and 3 from 1 team is too much as you say, especially in the early game Saturday - really annoying if they don't perform and you have to put up with it for the rest of the weekend. Cliche - watch Dyer score now...

I've taken a big risk and drafted in Aguero, I realise he'll not get anywhere near 90, if he even starts, which is maybe doubtful too, but he could be a great differential in the coming weeks

    No transfers this week.

    Going with:
    Foster

    Demel Gibbs Rafael

    Hazard (c) Cazorla Toure Michu

    Pog RvP Tevez

Bench is Begovic, Clyne, Taylor and Cuellar.

    I'm going with:

    Jaask
    Gibbs Clark Bertrand
    Cazorla Michu Yaya Hazard (C)
    Berbatov Tevez RVP (VC)

    Subs: Begovic, Demel, Maloney, Cuellar

    Jaas
    Perch Demel Figueroa
    Michu Pienaar Yaya Hazard Santi
    RVP Tevez(c)

    Bench: Begovic, Rafael, Pogrebnyak, Jenkinson

All four defensive players have home fixtures, happy with that.

Why is Distin not starting? He had played every minute before today. I have him benched this week anyway but had him pencilled in for a start over the next few weeks.

    No Dyer?

Have him Michu starting, but got Routledge on the bench.

10 of my starting team are at home today, 10 are away next week. Need to do something about that.

    Definitely, Swansea got lucky there!

    Already 3 saves from Vorm.

I'm surprised he's still starting. Two terrible mistakes that cost the team goals in his last two games.

He makes Titus Bramble look like Vidic at times.

Whatever about Williams, Chicos replacement Tate looks brutal in defence for Swansea, which is worrying given that I have Davies

Yeah I'm convinced it was Caulker & Chico making him look a better player than he is .

    Anchibe goal . Fellaini assist

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 756 ✭✭✭Who_8_Paul?

The beast has scored. Swansea defence all over the place.

Chico looked erratic at times in the West Ham game. They may have kept 2 clean sheets initially but I think that Swansea defence needs quite a lot of work.

Unreal strength and bravery from Fellaini there.

To say Swansea arent at the races would be an under statement,Vorm's save points is all I can hope for if they keep defending like that

Wish someone would cut Fellaini's hair, that might bring the big man down a few inches :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,194 ✭✭✭FatRat

Wow, Fellaini Completely passed it on with his arm, not head. Still though happy Everton are winning :pac: Not happy with my Swansea CS gone.

BBC have no assist listed either.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,986 ✭✭✭✭dahat

Everton look really good attacking and seem to have plenty goals in them.
Going to get either Fellani or Pienaar for this weeks transfer,Kagawa will be the victim!!

Plenty more goals in this game...

FFS.... CS ruined for Vorm, Swansea looking pants in attack and Pienaar not even getting the assist!!! I hope this isnt a sign of things to come for this week! I need a big turn around after last weeks dismal score!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,986 ✭✭✭✭dahat

Highly unlikely to get the assit,Mirallis sort of assited himself...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 712 ✭✭✭Devia

Pienaar definitely crossed it in. Vorm saved the first shot by Mirallas though, don't know if that counts against the assist?

Just seen it there. Stone wall assist especially under fpl rules unless hitting crossbar isn't in rules

Ball came back into play off the bar from the original move, so no assist for Pienaar.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Jesus Mirallas, why didn't you just finish it the first time? :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 886 ✭✭✭acalmenvoy

Swans to come back, 2-2, Graham, Michu, (2 assists from Rangel).

AFAIK once Pienaar played it into the box and it wasn't touched by any opposition player to clear it out of the box he should get the assist. For example, Sterling played in Suarez last week, he had a shot blocked and come back to him and scored and Sterling got the assist.

    Thats what I was thinking.

Just because it wasn't given instantly doesn't mean it won't be reviewed and awared later. We'll have to wait and see. There is the argument that Mirallas assisted himself though.

    Michu should have scored there.

That's a bit of a fooker. I don't see what the difference is between the post and a defender.

In fairness he's a real bandwagon player.

I said here two weeks ago that the wheels would come off the Swansea train when they drew 2-2 with Sunderland and people questioned it.

They had a great result against QPR followed by a game where West Ham gave them a 2 goal lead with two terrible errors, and where they were lucky to keep a clean sheet. Since then they've been poor.

I'm glad the only Swansea player I have is Michu.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 756 ✭✭✭Who_8_Paul?

Dyer off and Rangel booked. I have Davies who might get 1 point. At least none of the usual suspects are picking up points so far except the clean sheet for Baines, but against 10 men now that might not last...
