    Hi all.

I am travelling in shallow weedy water a lot in a 17ft sheelin lake boat. It is running on a 9.9hp Johnson 4 stroke outboard with a 10 spline shaft and a thru hub exhaust. Is a weedless propeller good and can i get one anywhere?

    Thanks

Hi michaelheny and welcome to the forum, I went for a spin up the Royal canal last week and because of the weed at Enfield I used one of these prop's and it worked fine, it's called a ringprop but I'm not sure if they are still been made.

How about a prop guard would that work for you.

not too sure if weedless for a 10 spline are easy to get. Try Marineparts as if it is out there then they'll order it in for you. Other than that then I 2nd fergals suggestion, the prop guards seem to work well in weed.
