I think she asked a few of us and we voted it without it being in the poll
That doesn’t seem fair imo. Why have a poll if that’s the case? It makes no odds to me what the result is – I’ve no idea what dates I can do, so I didn’t vote. However, I wouldn’t like to think that if I voted, my vote wouldn’t count.

aghhh I meant me! not a few of us! I got distracted and typed it badly
I was asked and then I noticed I hadnt voted for nov so I'm adding a vote
if that doesn't count, then strike it off

No that seems fine (don't panic :)) it is just the way Pem said it was going to be that date, seemed like she had over-ruled the voting process yakno. We no blame you nothing do not worry :)

So how is it that nearly every other date has more votes?

Someone's been messing with the poll :p
They were only 1 short/equal when I posted earlier and now it's down :p

Yea I will admit they do look a bit suspicious alright, quite high for a LOT of them which makes no sense to me. Someone needs to check into it

The poll will be closed soon but I am saying Saturday 3 November. It's the date with the most votes.

Now for venues and Grames, please don't say Cassidy's.

er pem? It ain't the date with the most votes!! that would be a tie at the mo between the 27th of October (which has another massive beers on that night) and the 24th of November
At 9am, I never print screened so can't prove, Saturday 3.11 had 32 votes and Saturday 24.11 had 28 votes.

Those dates have been added since this morning.

I pmed Bluewolf to see if she could make that date, I didn't add her vote to the poll. I didn't change anything. I went with the numbers at 9am.

Someone has/something has gone screwey with the numbers alright.

Right well if the 3rd won (and I trust you pem, sorry if it seemed I didn't) that'l be me out. I have the big beerz on the 27th and then going to a scare thing on the 28th so there'll be no money to return to Duberlin the following week to get slozzled again. Enjoy yourselfs

I am going to look into venues for Saturday 3rd November, as that was the date that was chosen when I pm'd mods asking for the poll to be closed.

If someone else wants to arrange beers for the numbers in the poll below, off with you.

Sorry, Pem – I hadn’t checked the numbers in the poll eralier but my (mis) understanding of BW’s first post was that she had voted independently of the poll via PM. That's what I questioned. It’s unlikely that I can make it no matter what the date, so it makes no difference to me personally. That’s also why I have not voted as I do not wish to skew the numbers when I am a either a very slight maybe or a no for all dates. It was merely the principle that I queried. Either way, I am not likely to be there so I have nothing to gain from a change in date :)

seriously how old ARE you? :pac:

How about TP Smyths? Easy to book an area, comfy, not too expensive (iirc), and there are jukeboxes so there can be plenty of cliff richard for the geriatrics among us!! ;)
