It's the girlfriend's birthday this weekend and as we are both massive GAA fans I thought it would be nice to take her somewhere in your great county to watch the massacre of Mayo ;)

We'd be looking for 2 night stay in a nice hotel (3-4 star) from saturday to monday. Can anyone recommend a nice town or hotel where there will be a good buzz on All ireland day? Somewhere good to watch the match? Perhaps with some decent activities for the saturday e.g. kayaking, surfing etc? We are open to both the weird and wonderful :D

Open to all suggestions; regardless of town size or geographical location.

    Thanks in advance

Every town in Donegal will have a buzz this weekend with Donegal Town and Letterkenny being the main attractions. This thread has some great links about where to go and what to do and well worth a read.
