There is an offer for ladders today with Aldi . They say the max working height is 4.6 m .Is that high enough to paint a two storey semi detached house. The link is http://www.aldi.ie/ie/html/offers/special_buys3_23533.htm or would I need a longer ladder.

That's 15 feet. You would be pushing it safety-wise, I would think. I could be wrong though.

You know what they say about 'falling off a ladder'! :0

Not long enough for painting a 2 storey house safely, you'd need a proper 2 stage extendable ladder.

These would be domestic class 3 ladders.

I wouldn't be pushing their limits too far. :p
