Cork City gyms

    Hey lads,

    After recently moving to Cork, kinda getting settled now and i'm looking for a gym to membership too.

    I suppose some of the more important things i'm looking for gym-wise:
    • Reasonable price
    • Free weights area(reasonably big)
    • Adequate room to move
    • walking distance of the Ballyphehane would be good

    so as seen above mainly looking for a gym with more emphasis on free weights, body weight accessories i.e. hanging rings, pull up bars, dip stations etc.

    appreciate any response, and reviews or experiences. wink.png thanks.

    There's a crossfit gym in Leghenamore industrial estate in Togher, not a million miles from you, but not exactly what you're looking for either.

    Leisureworld in Bishopstown is probably your best bet for free weights, but rings etc you won't find there.

    We have everything you're looking for in Midleton, but that's definitely too far away.

    Fitness Worx in Douglas (Donnybrook) would be worth checking out......probably have all you're looking for, but again, it's a little further away.
