Based off No Surrender (and iMPACT!) we'll also probably get Storm vs. Roode, Joe vs. Magnus, Styles and Angle vs. Daniels and Kaz (maybe throwing in Chavo and Hernandez), Aces and 8s vs. Sting and co., an X-Division match (which I'd guess might be a three way with Ion/King/Dutt), Tara will probably turn on Tessmacher, they might do Joey Ryan vs. Al Snow, and maybe Bully vs. Abyss unless Bully is involved with Aces and 8s. One of the matches will be on the Countdown To Bound For Glory pre-show.

On last night’s TNA Wrestling post-game show, TNA announcer Jeremy Borash noted that he would be hosting the first-ever TNA Wrestling Hall of Fame ceremonies the night before the TNA Bound For Glory pay-per-view event and that legendary wrestler Lex Luger would be in attendance.

During today’s episode of Busted Open Radio on Sirius 94 & XM 208, the hosts noted that Luger will be appearing at the ceremonies to induct Sting into the TNA Hall of Fame and not Christian as had been initally expected.

Luger seems an odd choice, but makes more sense than Christian if we're looking at Sting's whole career. I wonder if Hogan's ego is preventing him from doing it?

Not really himself and Sting are great mates but part of me wanted Joseph Park to do it.

Joseph Park is too busy being the ringleader behind Aces and 8's ;)

I'm expecting it before then which would be a shame as only Hardy is more popular than him right now.

From a selfish point of view, it would also mean Bully Ray isnt getting a title feud unless Hardy wins.

What is Bully Ray doing for the ppv?
I could nearly see him being added to the Main Event but that'd dilute the importance of the BFG Series(which I really enjoyed this year) as much as i'd like to see him in i'd rather if it was left to a 1 on 1 match for the sake of the future of the BFG series. I'm also worried that the result in the final of that was influenced by Tna management trying to get Hardy tied down to a long term deal, I can't blame wwe if they're interested in Jeff but I feel he owes Tna after what he did.

Hardy has said he doesn't see himself ever going back to WWE. Unless he is dumb enough to believe he has a future in music, his options are rather limited.

Bully I think will have something to do with Aces and Eights. Don't know who he will face though. Abyss maybe?

I still see him being added to the Aries vs hardy . Kinda like HBK being added to HHH vs Benoit

With Hogan and Hardy turning heel at B4G 2010, and Hogan turning face at B4G 2011, it's very possible that someone will turn this year.

Not sure it will be Aries though because he's only been face for a few months.

i can see a tna v's aces & 8's match ala wcw v's outsiders match, with bully turning his back on tna and leading aces & 8's instead

then title reign for the bully - woohooo

been absolutely mint on the mike and in the ring since his singles run. quite easily the most improved wrestler of the last few years

also i agree with liz on the aries heel turn some semi heelish talk from him last week in his chat with hardy.

crowd will love him no matter what poetry in the ring - i'd love a fued with aj for the strap

also joe should get tv title and fued with daniels magnus and rvd for it, i remember when raven went to wcw and himself benoit and ddp had a series of absolutely savage matches - TNA should definitely do this.

that title needs prestige and fast.

nice little best of 5 or best of 7 series would fit the bill. ;)

Maybe they will have Aries be a part time heel leading up to BFG instead of going face vs face and might actually be more interesting and can casue tension up to the match . Then after the match they both shake hands and Aries goes back to being full time face

Sounds like a better solution, because right now they have him going down the CM Punk route and they need to change that fast to differ themselves from the WWE.

Sting and Bully for the tag match I reckon with Bully Ray turning on Sting to join up with Aces and Eights.

I'm surprised they only went with 2 on 2, I have no idea what the likes of Anderson and RVD are going to do at BFG (assuming that Sting is going to be one of the two).

    Reverse Battle Royal!!!! :D

Or just a regular match with about 8 or 10 guys for a future title shot.

Anderson, RVD, Doug Williams, Eric Young, Gunner, Kid Kash, Matt Morgan, Robbie E, Robbie T, Crimson, Bischoff. Really only five people (Anderson, RVD, Morgan and maybe Gunner and Crimson) have any hope of winning but their isnt many other options, everyone else is booked up or close to it. Maybe change it to a TV title shot and all of them are realistic contenders then?

Yes I think Hogan could turn on Sting as well and be revealed as being the "mastermind" behind Aces and Eights with Eric Bischoff

I think it would give up TNA if this happened since they only turned heel at BFG 2 years ago

Wasnt it last year he turned face at BFG too? Could be a pattern developing here!

Personally, I think Hogan is still way too popular to turn heel. The tourists love him so he will usually get cheered in Orlando no matter what.

Hopefully you are wrong if it becomes a pattern . Did anyone think it was Bully Ray who had his back to Hogan and Sting during the capture bit? Had a baseball hat backwards

Sounded a bit like Abyss to me, but obviously with Park in the background that wouldn't have made sense and would just have been a pain to record. Don't think Bully would be hiding the fact that he was in charge.

The jacket pales in comparison to the scarf that Joey Ryan has around his neck, in my opinion.

Abyss, who has not appeared on TNA Wrestling programming since the summer, is expected to make his return this Sunday at Bound For Glory. The Abyss character has been off TV for some time, only making cameo appearances during the summer.

During his absence, he sporadically appeared for Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) in Mexico. At Héroes Inmortales on Sunday, Abyss and Chessman lost the AAA World Tag Team Championship to Joe Líder and Vampiro, ending

Disappointed that Hogan isn't wrestling as Sting's partner vs Aces and 8's.

Who will be the two Aces and 8's? Luke Gallows and Matt Morgan?

Based off how awesome Sting and Bully were as a team on IMPACT I'm certainly not.

Why is the match restricted to a tag-team match when there are at least four members of Aces and 8's? Why not have 4 v 4, could have had Hogan and Anderson with Sting and Bully.

Yea would have thought it could have been 3 or 4 on each team . Still think its a decent card and there seems to me more build up on most matches then Wrestlemania last year

Did Bully Ray orchestrate the attack on Kennedy, I mean, Anderson, and will turn on Sting?

I believe the technical term is "clusterfcuk". 2 v 2 is far better than 4 v 4 under normal rules.

Some guys views of the Hall Of Fame , seemed like a really relaxed atmosphere

    Credit: Kyle Ouderkirk & ProWrestling.net
I arrived an hour before the doors were supposed to open. There was already a line of about 20 people. The atmosphere outside was relaxed and friendly…the highlight of my standing in line was definitely these couple of British guys who were teaching some older guys what it meant to be a wanker. Everyone around me had seemed to be a return purchaser of either the full weekend package or a travel package as they were all swapping stories about James Storm and a few other wrestlers. The TNA website listed the box office as opening at 6 pm, however it didn’t open until 7. I checked in at 7:15. I located a table with a couple of the people I was in line with since we seemed to get along. The seat I chose was right next to where our mystery guest host was to be sitting, so I was pretty stoked about that. We didn’t know who we were sitting with until they were announced as guests at the show. Everyone who came got a six pack of TNA trading cards as a little token of appreciation from the company.

At about 7:45 SoCal Val welcomed us to the first ever Hall of Fame ceremony. The guests were introduced as follows; Hector Guerrero, Hernandez,Willie Urbina, James Storm, Chavo, RVD (accompanied by loud RVD chants), Earl Hebner, Miss Tessmacher, Zema Ion, Frankie Kazarian and Christopher Daniels, Christy Hemme, Kurt Angle (accompanied by huge USA chants), Austin Aries, Tara, My guest host was my No. 1 choice, Bully Ray.There was a brief moment where some words were being exchanged by Tessmacher and Tara’s tables. At one point someone threw one of the bread rolls from Tara’s table toward Tessmacher’s, but I missed who threw it. SoCal Val half joked that extra security needed to be placed near those tables. Bully walks up and tells our table we’re paying for the drinks tonight. Funny. Back to the guest hosts, Brooke Hogan, Al Snow. I apologize if I missed anyone. I am pretty sure I caught all their names though.

There was a funny moment when Bully chanted “boring” during Snow’s walk to his table. Bully immediately ran to the bar and upon his return began hitting on a few of the staff around the banquet hall. Bully is absolutely hilarious. Bully asked all the folks at the table “What is your favorite thing about TNA wrestling?” There were lots of good answers at my table, mine was that every star feels big. The other answers had a general theme of “The quality of the matches.” He then asked what we hated, and there were a few answers about odd story lines. The fan next to me put it wonderfully by saying that “Too often the execs at TNA just throw stuff at a wall to see what sticks.” Bully made his rounds to the surrounding tables drumming up some humor at some of the tables who were given lesser known personalities. He really was a riot. The man knows how to make people laugh and he had us laughing throughout the entire evening.

Jeremy Borash was then introduced as the host of the evening. He gave a brief speech about the importance of the evening for TNA and the introduced the whole main table; AJ Styles, Dixie Carter, Hulk Hogan, Mike Tenay, and finally, the man of the hour, Sting. There was a great speech by JB touching on a few of Sting’s more well known accolades. SoCal Val came over to talk to Bully and ended up staying for most the evening.

Mike Tenay was then introduced by JB, and gave a great speech in which he expanded on the accolades that JB mentioned a moment prior. He mentioned the match with Ric Flair at Clash of Champions, and that Sting was also involved in the last WCW match ever. Tenay gave a truly amazing speech that spanned ALL of Sting’s history in this business, and then he introduced the video tribute. It was the same type of video from impact on Thursday but a much longer version with quite a few more interview portions. After it ended JB returned to the stage and AJ Styles was introduced. His speech touched on Sting’s days as the “Crow” and talked about his star power. He mentioned specifically being at a live event and touching Sting’s shoulder and knowing from that moment that he wanted to wrestle. He connected it to today where gets to work with his hero on a daily basis. There was a funny part where AJ was talking about not meeting your heroes because you make not like what you see. Bully Ray quipped “Not me, I’m f’in awesome!” It took a lot for our table not to burst into loud laughter. AJ finished the speech by thanking the fans and of course, Sting.

JB returned to the stage and then Lex Luger was introduced as the “Total Package.” Cool Reference. Lex couldn’t make it up the stage but made an amazing speech from the floor. He told the story of how he was jealous of Sting before they met and that when he finally did meet Sting that Sting asked him about what his nutritional regiment was. Lex responded with “Beer, Cheeseburgers, and Peanut M&M’s.” They shared a laugh together. He told a very touching story about how they grew apart due to religious reasons but then were reunited by Christ. Being religious myself it was excellent to hear them not shy away from how important that is to Sting as a man. JB came back up after a standing ovation for Lex and Hulk Hogan was introduced. Hulk talked about how intensely he knows Sting and how honored he was to wrestle sting and still work with him daily. There was a funny part from Hogan about not understanding Sting’s decisions being based on loyalty and not money. The table behind us got to talking part of the way through Hulk’s speech, but Bully just turned around and told them to shut up. It was quite fantastic. Hulk gave a great speech that was heartfelt and he ended by acknowledging the fact the if there is one person in the wrestling industry or the world in general that you can count on it’s Steve(Sting).

JB returned to segue over to Dixie Carter. Great speech by Dixie touching on the Asylum years and the amount of credibility that Sting gave them in their early days. She discussed her contract negotiations with Sting and how she would have to ask him to come back each and every year. She told one really interesting story about her son who caught a scorpion the day she had one of her final contract obligations with Sting. Her son presented the scorpion to Sting and told him it was a sign and Sting agreed, taking the scorpion for himself and agreeing to another year when he had just finished telling Dixie “No” moments earlier.

It was an amazing story. Dixie got teary eyed near the end of her speech and then introduced Sting. Sting’s speech was fantastic. He said that he was uncomfortable, but he sure didn’t show it. He began by acknowledging his past, thanking Ric Flair, and Eric Bischoff. He referenced N.W.O. and even “Wolfpack Sting.” He told the story of how Scott Hall came up with his “Crow” character. He told a few funny stories about his in ring days with his blonde flat top. We all laughed. He spoke about his Faith a bit more and said that without his brothers in the wrestling ring he would not be where he is today. He closed his speech with tons of thank you’s. We gave him another ovation and chanted “Thank you Sting,” and “You still got it.” Dixie presented Sting with a watch to commemorate the evening and then everyone came to the front for pictures.

It was an amazing evening that was more than worth the price of the ticket. I had a great time and was thrilled to be part of history in the wrestling industry. Dixie Carter came by and thanked us after the show ended and I got some great pictures that I will cherish for a long time to come. Now I get to go the actual show!

He posted this photo Saturday of the gang’s trademark skull bandana, and writing, “Almost time!”

Bradley has appeared as a member of the group on past episodes of iMPACT! Wrestling. Mike Knox and Cliff “Domino” Compton have also taken part in the angle.

Can`t wait to relax and watch this Thursday night, didn`t care for Aries promo to close impact but i`m still hyped for this card. Hope the Ace`s & 8`s angle is moved forward a lot tonight with a reveal and a Bully Ray turn to go with a Jeff Jarrett return. Now to go make my predictions.
