Yesterday they updated their facebook for the first time in months just to say hello.

    Today they post this:

    Dare we dream?

Are they hinting at a new album?

    Without bonzo?

I think it was maybe slightly more often than I mentioned being at both Knebworth gigs in '79 :pac:

Would they really make such a big deal out of a DVD release though? I read the DVD is out late November and everyone already knows about it, so a countdown to being told about the DVD again would be a bit anti climactic.

Looks like a global release on Nov 22nd. CD, DVD and Blu ray. Tasty.;)

If the countdown was to announce that the DVD is out on this Friday lets say, that would be more exciting, because it would be a completely out of the blue surprise.

Having a countdown to announce that a DVD will be out 2 months after the countdown finishes, is a bit pants.

    It makes no sense.

Showing in the cinema on Oct 17th and why the announcement is tomorrow. Makes a bit more sense.

Nothing that I can see on any Irish ones yet though.

Does the five signify the five years that have passed since that reunion gig?

The DVD will be out for Christmas anyway very excited about that, I could never find proper footage of the gig anywhere.

As for any potential album or reunion tour I think the time has passed. 2007 might have been the last chance to do something, With Jason on drums they had a direct link to Bonzo..

This day 32 years ago Bonzo died, RIP to the GREATEST drummer EVER.

Achilles Last Stand is Bonzo’s finest hour. There will never be anyone like him.

I thought the Irish guy that asked him about Rory Gallagher should have been ashamed of himself. It was a press conference about Celebration Day, not a "lets ask Jimmy Page our dream question" situation.

Anyone else going to see the film next week? I have my tickets booked.

Yes I am going, seems like an eternity since I saw the song remanins the same in the cinema. (It is ;))

More dumb journalists at the press conference in New York, they will never learn, Schmucks :p

Anyone go see the film? I thought it was absolutely spectacular. For a band that hadnt played in 27 years, they realy nailed it.

I went and loved it too. The vibe on stage was great. They looked like they were having a great time. Jason Bohnam is a fantastic drummer. His Dad would have been proud. As for Jimmy, Robert and John Paul, they're a bit weathered lookin now but they can still rock. The only song that wasn't brilliant in my opinion was "Since I've Been Lovin You". The solo never really got going but apart from that everything else was great. My favourite bit was the violin bow segment in "Dazed and Confused". They are rock legends and deservedly so. I would have loved to be at the concert, it must have been incredible. Can't wait until it comes out on DVD.
