    Hi all,

I was going to the gym for quite a while and things were going quite well. I injured my back/bum doing whatever and have recently finished up physio. I've to do 'rehab' on it as it is still a little sore.

Ideally I'm looking to put on weight/muscle. I'm 5,10 weighing in at 58KG. Looking to put on quite a bit more. Seeing as I wont be able to go to the gym as much as I like because of my tweak I was wondering does anybody know what foods I should be eating to put on a lot of weight?

I find no matter how much I eat I struggle to put on weight, does anybody have good suggestions?

    All help greatly appreciated.

Well if you're not going to be working out that much and eating a calorie surplus most of what you eat will be put on as fat, not muscle.

Either way, to put on weight you need to eat more than your body requires. In order to do this the kinds of food you need to eat is, well, more food. Read the stickies, there's lots of info there. If you're eating well all you really need to do is keep increasing the amount you eat until you start putting on weight. You could add in calorie dense foods such as avocados, nuts and milk to make that easier to reach.

If You want to put on some weight then just eat calories. One thing which you can also try is the capsules for increasing the weight..They are not having any side effects.

So I looked up how many calories I need by using this website:

It works out at 2304.23 calories as I would be mod exercise.

Does anybody happen to know a good website to give you a list of how many calories are in what foods etc?
