My usual bet when Halifax are at home - Halifax to win @ 13/10 and (-1) @ 7/2 - they drew away to Gateshead on St Stephens Day 1-1 and basing it just on home form Halifax look the business

Fukin disgusted with Halifax, they led 2-0 and 3-1 yet somehow conceded 2 to draw!!!

They played a friendly in Sweden in the summer which finished 1-0 so I'm holding off to decide in play. it's a sold out stadium over there so maybe they'll put on a show. Personally I'm holding off though till about 10 - 15 minutes in at least to decide.

Going with Kris Boyd @ 2.37 again even though he let me down last week. 5 in last 5, 11 for the season. At home to St Mirren who concede just about 2 a game away.

One of the more stable looking +2.5 in the Aussie league i think. Tomorrow morning at 8.30 Adelaide United v Sydney FC.

    Line is at 2.5 @ 4/5

    http://ie.soccerway.com/matches/2014/01/03/australia/a-league/adelaide-united/sydney-fc/1475227/head2head/

Adelaide have a few injury concerns and Sydney are on a bit of a bad run. They seem to bring the goals out of each other though.

    Preview for anyone who's interested.

Anyone have any fancies for the cup this weekend ? It's usually a nightmare for punters so will probably just go for a btts or overs accumulator.

    2-2 Ft

One of the more consistent +2.5 in the Aussie league. fair play to Syndey coming from behind to draw going a man down. I switched on 20 mins in, right when the second goal was happening so missed the boat and ended up on corners.

Hopefully this was of use to someone else though.

I have my eye to Newcastle v Cardiff. Cardiff went up at 9/2 and have a new manager to impress who has just been given a decent amount to spend in the January transfer window.

Newcastle tend to leave the competition early lately. Last year they fielded a B team with the Ameobi brothers being the main names that I remember and lost first game in to Brighton Hove & Albion (who also knocked them out second round in the year before)

Will be keeping an eye to lineups to take anything. If this was in Cardiff I would be more confident though.

I will be taking a look to the overs in Derby v Chelsea too depending on lineups.

Noting major staked though same as yourself. Anything can happen really.
