Groningen - Ajax could get interesting.
Groningen usually strong at home, Ajax might be scratching their head a bit after what happened against PSV.
Add to that the fact that Ajax quite often has a slow start of the season, apart from last year.
Small stake on Groningen to get something out of that match is what i ll take.

Twente - Feyenoord
As said, both played on thursday, both at home and the only difference is that Feyenoord went through to the group stages thanks to a very late winner by Manu (after throwing away a 3-0 lead) and Twente went out against the might Qarabag.
So fatigue should be the same, mood is probably different.

Feyenoord should have decided the match in the first half. More than enough chances.

All that typing and i have only 1 bet pre match for Holland made:

Depay/Te Vrede any time double. I have that on bet365 @ around 7.
Unibet might be better for at least one of those 2

Te Vrede missing a penalty and Depay screwing up no less than 2 one on ones with the Vitesse goalkeeper late in the game. :mad:

The PSG vs St Etienne game should have goals in it... Makeshift defense for St Etienne with their CB and captain out, replaced by an inexperienced youngster, pretty attacking line up too as they play with two strikers. Ibra is back from injury and in the starting line up.

... but I dont like overs so I took Ibra anytime @ 1.85

edit: just saw the line up on tv and St Etienne are actually playing with 5 at the back and Monnet Paquet (striker/winger) playing as a right wing back :pac:

Looks like Real are going to struggle without Alonso.
Similar to Liverpools collapse when Alonso left them .
Ramos is well past it and Marcelo got called up for Brazil again.
Going to oppose Real in the next few games, until Ronaldo is back at least, especially with the handicap.

I think theres going to be more upsets especially after midweek European games.
Fitness levels of all the teams is way up, making for tougher mid-week matches in Europe and then returning to a PL match against mid-tier or even bottom tier teams who have closed the gap.
(I know Soceidad 4-2 v Real proves my first point but not my second... never said this was easy:D)
