Thanks to XxMCRxBabyxX for the thread idea :) If you know of any jobs available in Maynooth or surrounding areas, please post them here.

My friend who worked in Londis in JH last year has got another job so there will probably be something available there if anyone's looking for work around Maynooth.

This reminds me of an idea that I had for a thread. Would a "jobs available in Maynooth and the surrounding areas" thread be a stupid idea? I was thinking that if anyone who saw/knew of any job vacancies going could post them up for those looking. Might be a help to some of us?

No, it was advertised in their shop window. It said to apply inside for details, that was a few days ago though so I'm not sure whether or not the position has been filled or not.

The Coffee mill is just before the bridge at mannor mills. Its an orange door where you walk down steps to the cafe.

I dont think they require much experience, I remember some obviously inexperienced people last year, but they learned very quickly.

It was just in the shop window. Dont remember seeing an email address.

Has anyone seen the fliers for "jobsmaynooth @ outlook.ie"? I sent off an e-mail to them, but it wasn't received, and now I'm fearing that they're running a scam.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,234 ✭✭✭Thwip!

Could be that they were very silly and put an incorrect email address on the flyer without proofreading it

Deadline for cvs is this evening.
Says please drop them in personally or else mail to

I haven't seen many wanted ads online as regards jobs in Maynooth. Apart from the job for SU ops team. Any point dropping cvs into pubs and restaurants etc, around Maynooth? Has anyone been successful by doing that?

D'Aviva Stadium are hiring casual workers ATM of anyone is interested. It's not a constant cash stream but is paid well when there are events on and is easy to get to from Maynooth. Looks like there's a good few matches coming up in the next while too.
