Norton won't open

Hi I have norton 360 installed on my laptop , today it said an update was needed so i did this , anyway it took ages it stalled so i shut down the computer when i turned it on again norton wont open, how do i fix this ? I don't have the original disk it's already been used three times anyway. I don't know if it was a virus…

You can download the latest installer (trial version) of Norton 360. If you have a valid key and subscription you can activate it.

Uninstall Norton 360 first, use their removal tool (instructions here).
