Knee pain

For the past few months I have been working out 4-6 days per week (depending how much I can fit in) mostly cardio and a little bit of strength/weight training now and then.

Sometimes (maybe once every couple of weeks) I get pain in my left knee a few hours after working out - always the same kind of pain/same knee, it never happens on the right side.

I currently have the pain since Saturday afternoon and I worked out yesterday but I am not sure if I should skip todays workout or go ahead with it? Usually it only lasts a day. I do C25K which I haven't done for the past couple of days because of it, but I am not sure if its okay to continue with my other cardio or should I just have a few rest days until it gets better?

Thanks in advance for any advice :)
