    Slowcooker chili made from stewing beef marinated overnight in red ale, chili and five spice. Lots of chipotles and a little tomato puree and (too much) masa added at the end of thicken it. Eaten with a side of Jean Claude vD & Kickboxer. Ah, the 80s.

    A smoothie of milk, pineapple juice, pear, kiwi fruit, banana, grapes, and some linseeds. Delicious, but a bit stingy round the mouth still.

    One slice?! I couldn't stop at one slice. I could literally eat 8 slices no problem. That's why I never have that gorgeous stuff anymore.

    I had crispy bacon, boiled egg, sliced Tomato and avocado with lots of black pepper accompanied by a black coffee courtesy of my Nespresso.

    Homemade currant scone with lashings of butter and jam, and a damn fine coffee

    Some sausages in a freshly baked (from parbake) baguette and a generous mimosa. Needed to liven up the weekend breakfasts a bit. Rest of the mornings housework was a blur!
