I'd have to hang on to my Volvo 1800ES,
I'd get an upgraded Audi A2 TDi in dolphin grey,
    1.jpg
A Fiat Dino Coupe in gunmetal grey and tan interior (for the Italian summer house),
    fiat-dino-2400-coupe-01.jpg
A forward control Landrover, or one of those Austrian Pinzgauer mountain 4x4's rigged up as an expedition camper,
    712KTreffen5lg.jpg
and finally - a Lancia Montecarlo with a galvanised body.
    92052d1202633433-lancia-montecarlo-scorpion-montecarlo.jpg

But the list would be different tomorrow.

Nothing overly expensive or fancy apart from the Stratos.

    Citroen DS Decapotable
    Citroen Traction Avant
Lamborghini Countach (keep for 6 months then exchange for a LM002)
    Porsche 959
    Ferrari F40

    Other worthy mentions are an E28 M5 (or M535i), a W111 convertible, Citroen H van and a W126 coupe.

As alastair says the list tomorrow would be different though the DS and F40 would always stay.

    1/ Audi Quattro
    2/ Aston Martin Lagonda
    3/ Bentley Turbo R (1996 model)
    4/ Bugatti EB-110
    5/ Lancia Delta Integrale

Edit: Come to think of it, in a bid not to cheat and keep it to 5, I've now traded in the imaginary Lagonda and got these in exchange :)

VW Type 2 1960's camper (way ahead of it's time)
Early Austin Seven Mini (as above)
1949 Ford V8 (Pretty radical design, and cool)

For sure a car like the Zonda needs to be given a serious amount of respect when driving it and then a little bit more respect . The guy that died after he crashed his last week wasn't wearing a seatbelt though and was found 10ft from the car . His passenger walked away with a few scratches.

Well there a new one in the uk for for 890 k stg. So say roughly customs value it a 1000000 + 36% VRT 360000
I guess if you wanted one on Irish plates 1.4 million euro should see you on the road with Irish plates .

Hmmm, which lotto? It would have to be the Euro-milliions?

Today's choice would be the following, tomorrow would be different...

    1. McLaren F1. Probably a daily driver like Mr Atkinson. Can take both kids for a spin.
    2. Lamborghini Espada
    3. Citroen SM
    4. Mercedes AMG E63. Maybe with some Brabus or Carlsson mods. This would be a more likely daily driver if the missus insisted on coming too. Maybe even get the estate version for added practicality.
    5. Mercedes 300SL Roadster - the 58-63 version. For the summer!

Although I guess if you won the euro millions you could 'invest' some money in setting up something like the P1 Supercar Club and not worry too much about making a big profit (http://www.p1international.com/homepage.php)

    Right my list...

    8K633181-24sm.jpg

    mercedes-230-sl-pagoda-10166703-3.jpg

    maserati-quattroporte-sport-gt_.jpg

Although this list would probably change tomorrow. If I had Lotto money it'd be closer to 10 cars.

    We could also include:
    New AM DBS.
    1963 Lincoln Continental
    Ferrari 355.
    Jaguar XJR.
    Aston DB5....

    Designed and approved by Germans
The Volkswagen subsidiary in Brazil always had some degree of independence from Wolfsburg, so in 1969 they decided to start a new project of their own. A team led by Mr. Schiemann and supported by Rudolf Leiding (the CEO of the subsidiary and later of the entire company) started work on a so called "Project X", and presented a prototype in a 1971 fair. But it would take another year before the car reached the streets

Just a random pic I found on Google, I wasn't paying much attention other than to the badges!

Years ago I had for a very short time the use of a Mini that was prepared for historic racing with a full race engine but still road legal, had a bawl in it. I particularly remember passing 4 guys in an English reg XR4X4 which would have been pretty new at the time, we had a great game of cat & mouse for a while and the mouse got away!

It would want to be a Euromillions win for my selection, especially with the cost of running the LM001! If it was only a scabby lotto win I would happily change it for a Pajero Evolution.

    CampingAugust2012088.jpg

Never had the Pajero Evo but come to think of it, the nicest 4WD I ever owned for road use was a MK1 Izuzu Bighorn Lotus edition fantastic suspension set up for road use and a lovely close ratio gearbox. Sorry I ever parted with it.

Citroen SM, just gets the nod over the DS.

    Bugatti Type 57SC

    Something sporty, Ford GT40

Perhaps not everyone's cuppa but I love the 2nd Generation Lotus Esprit.

And finally, maybe not a car per se but I think it would qualify for the classic tax. A Challanger tank.

From what I can tell it's the rarer Opera model, of which only eight were originally built. My Bugatti is pretty unique too, it's an Atlantic model, only two still exist and the last sale was:eek: for $30 million

I think we're both wrong, it's an Elite!

In my defense Lotus model names are easy to confuse: Elite, Elise, Elan, Esprit, Eclat, Excel! (That's my story and I'm sticking to it :o)
