    Hi,

Im a finance and one of my modules clashes with a required module which means that that module is not actually available to us. They are EC217 AND FN205. Is this likely a timetable mistake or can we no longer do it?

    Thats the course: http://www.nuim.ie/courses/?TARGET=QS&MODE=VIEW&QUALIFICATION_CODE=FIN&OFFERING_CODE=U_HONS_DEGREES&SUBJECT_CODE=&TARGET_SOURCE=CS&KEYWORD=fin

I'd say it's likely a mistake as its only a provisional timetable however I'd say drop an email to the relevant department just to be sure ! :D

I'd say its no mistake last semester 2 modules were at the same time.

A chap that I knew who did law and economics had 3 classes at the same time. He just went to the ones that were less boring / very difficult.

I contacted the timetable people and I was told that it is just the way it has to be.

However, I then contacted the economic dept as I didnt think that was good enough. It turns out neither do they and they said it should be changed in the next week.

Just glad both modules were from the economics dept, they have more back bone than others :)
