Arklow rock.

Is it possible to get to the top of the Arklow rock? I know Cement Roadstone owns most of the rock and the quarry there but I sometimes see locals nipping around the fence obviously heading up for a walk, despite the no entry signs. Is it a case of "no entry but we don't really mind" as long as it is after 6pm? It would be…

Is it possible to get to the top of the Arklow rock? I know Cement Roadstone owns most of the rock and the quarry there but I sometimes see locals nipping around the fence obviously heading up for a walk, despite the no entry signs. Is it a case of "no entry but we don't really mind" as long as it is after 6pm? It would be nice to try to get up there on a sunny evening.

i think there is a right of way, i sometimes run through the quarry out to clogga road, but this would normally only be after 6

It's been a while since I was up there, but the handiest way is to go out to Rock Little on the way to Clogga and at the old school take the pathway around the south end of the rock.

Looks like a lot of work done quarrying the back of the rock from the aerial view. It was always a scramble up to the trig. point, but not sure how safe it may still be.
