This was recommended to me by a friend of mine, after hearing me complain about my stomach issues Has anyone tried it? And does it work?!!
Also called the Hay diet I think.
And should it be two protein to one carb meals per day? Or does it make a difference?

The food combining diet has been debunked. Some of the nonesense that the diet is based on:

That starch require and 'alkaline' environment and proteins require an 'acid' environment. Stomach acid is is very acidic and it's acidity doesn't change significantly based on what type of foods you eat.

That combining food leads to food 'rotting' in your digestive system. Newsflash, food is supposed to rot in your digestive system, gut bacteria are there to help us to break down food.

The fact is that our digestive system releases different enzymes based on what foods we eat and these enzymes work independently of each other. As well as that most food is a different combination of fats, proteins and carbohydrates (including human breast milk) and combining different foods can increase the nutrient absorption
