Come on Chuck, how many of these threads are you going to start? Only a few days since this one, and not too long since you had another one for older players!

    Threads merged.

Chuck, I'm happy enough to have posts about the club, or any sports clubs in D15 for that matter, but could you please keep it all to the one thread. Thanks.

chucknorris, I've removed your last post as it's simply advertising. I'm happy enough to allow stuff relating to how well the club is doing or if you're looking for new members, but this is neither.

Yes, it is advertising a 10 year anniversary dinner for a lad that was killed in a hit and run in Blanchardstown village on Easter Sunday 2003 and who was held in very high regard in the area. It's an event open to the public and the event is ran by the football club, hence the reason it is in this thread.

It is relevant to Dublin 15.

    Ridiculous.

And presumably it's a fundraiser of some description? We don't allow other people use Boards for fundraising, if we did we'd be swamped with that sort of thing, so I'm simply applying the rules as they pertain to the whole site.

Sure the dinner is €30 a head alone, made payable to the hotel and the Three comedians don't come cheap, not to mention the cost of the MC for the evening.

Yes it is a fund raiser, a fund raiser to cover the cost of the entertainment.

Zaph there is big difference between me posting something where a profit is made from selling something thing, as opposed to a 100% voluntary run football club that is marking an anniversary of one of it's members.

I didn't stick the poster up to make money, I stuck the poster up to try and get the message out to people who know him.

But not to worry, you're the boss.

Pat, Masina Salveta is a public point of contact and she owns Salvetas Chipper in Corduff. She would be happy to take a €10 deposit and your name, plus address.

We can then get a ticket to you once our list is full.

    fair play.

Just to let people in the community know that Corduff FC under 12s contest the all-Ireland club final on Saturday the 17th at 11am in Kilternan.

No club in the NDSL or indeed Dublin 15 has ever contested an all-Ireland final.

Every single player lives within a half a mile of the home ground - again that's unprecedented for an all-Ireland finalist.

Corduff football club, pricing structures for season 2014/15.

Nursery: 4, 5 and 6 year old players.

€2 each Saturday and if you choose to purchase the club crested jumper, short and socks, it's €25 (subsidised thanks to three super sponsors)

SMALL SIDED GAME: UNDER 8'S TO UNDER 11'S.

€15 start of season admin fee and then €5 per match*. No training fee*, no insurance fee and no hidden fee. Club gear of 5 crested garments is €65 if you choose and sponsor cards are given to kids to bob-a-job and take pressure off of their parents by earning that money for their gear.

LARGE SIDED GAME: UNDER 12'S TO UNDER 18'S.

€15 start of season admin fee and then €6 per match. No training fee, no insurance fee and no hidden fee. Club gear of 5 crested garments is €65 is you choose and sponsor cards are given to kids to bob-a-job and take pressure off of their parents by earning that money for their gear.

    * 'There comes periods in the season where kids have no games due to inclement weather. We still don't charge for training in those times but still use synthetic pitches for all teams, twice a week.

**All Corduff FC teams train twice a week on synthetic pitches.
